Meet the ‘SPlainer
SARAH CATHERINE GUTIERREZ
Sarah Catherine Gutierrez is a speaker, writer and owner of a financial planning company, called Aptus Financial. She is passionate about demystifying the financial world to women so that they can focus on the most important thing we need to do: save money for our future selves. There is no one better equipped to explain the financial world than someone who came from analyzing investments, and she has chosen to bring women to the world of finance through humor, honesty, plain English, and at most of her hosted events, with a fair amount of wine and chocolate.
She lives a beautifully simple life in Little Rock, Arkansas with her husband, Jorge, and their three kids, Marco, Max and Lucia. She hopes to one day have a dog (but hasn’t convinced her husband of that yet.) SC and Jorge own a salsa dance venue in the heart of the Rivermarket district in downtown, Little Rock, where they share their passion for dancing. It is at that venue that SC educates women on money and helps them make daring commitments to save for the future.
